My Journey to Digital Marketing: A Fresh Start

I completed my Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science back in 2016. Like many fresh graduates, I wasn't quite sure what path to take next. I started with an internship, which eventually led me into a career as a web developer. But as the months went by, I realized something important — web development, and even computer science as a whole, just wasn't the right fit for me.

So I made a bold decision: I walked away from web development.

The PSC Chapter

After leaving the tech world, I turned my attention toward the PSC (Public Service Commission) trail, hoping it would lead me somewhere meaningful. Unfortunately, that chapter didn't unfold the way I had hoped either. Then, like so much of the world, my plans were completely halted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Three long years passed while I stayed at home, waiting, reflecting, and wondering what my next move would be.

Once the world started opening up again, I began preparing seriously for the PSC. But throughout that whole period, one thought kept coming back to me: I need to learn something new. I need to rebuild my career from the ground up.

Discovering Digital Marketing

The question was — what should I learn? After speaking with many people and doing a great deal of research, one answer kept coming up: digital marketing. It seemed like the right move for someone like me who wanted a fresh start in a field that was growing fast and full of opportunities.

I spent a long time looking into different options before I finally decided to enroll at Code Brücke Academy — widely regarded as the best digital marketing academy in Calicut. As I write this, I'm sitting in a class at Code Brücke, the best digital marketing academy in Calicut — and this is actually the first blog I have ever written. I have read countless blogs over the years, but today, I am on the other side. I am the one writing, and honestly, it feels amazing.

I won't pretend I wasn't nervous before my first day. I had no idea what to expect from the onboarding session. But the moment I walked in and met my fellow students and the team, something shifted. The anxiety melted away. The onboarding day was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. I left feeling lighter, happier, and more confident than I had in a long time.

Four Months of Possibilities

Now I have four exciting months ahead of me at Code Brücke, the best digital marketing academy in Calicut, as I dive deep into the Digital Marketing and Graphic Designing course. For the first time in a long while, I feel like I'm moving in the right direction. I'm not just changing careers — I'm rediscovering my purpose.
